We’re husband-and-wife filmmakers from Melb/Naarm (two-for-one package). And we’re big believers there’s no love story quite like yours — so AAALL that (*waves hand in your direction*) deserves to be captured, re-lived and cherished ‘till you’re old ‘n grey.

CKCS Films — say what now?
The C stands for Cass. The K stands for Kane.
The CS stands for Crothers-Swensson (both our last names smooshed together, all in the name of looooove).
The story goes waaay back to 2010 in Adelaide: We fell in love at film school. Got engaged in New York. Tied the knot in Adelaide. Then in 2017, we moved to the big smoke of Melbourne for better access to live music, vegan pizza and smoother coffee.
So, how does the two-for-one package work? Well, we both attend your wedding — each filming your big day through our own lens. We work together to get multiple angles and shots, nod telepathically from behind our cameras,
and then meet at the bar to shout “this! is! epic!”
Cass loves capturing the emotional, feel-good stuff. Kane loves capturing the upbeat, LOL stuff. Cass brings the brains, organisation and will (quite literally) sob to your wedding vows. Kane brings the jokes, technical know-how and shimmies to the d-floor.
So, what we’re really saying is, we’re like a crisp gin and tonic on a hot summer’s day. Waaaay better together. The result is a film that’s the perfect combo of laugh-out-loud fun and get-your-tissues-out feels. Your favourite film, for the rest of your life.
